Room Functionality

Feature overview

Where this fits in the project

The room functionality brief goes deeper into how every space should work. The client describes habits, storage needs, equipment, limitations, and priorities per room, while Liru organizes answers into requirements, tasks, and next steps.

Room Functionality goes one level deeper than the general brief. You collect needs for the kitchen, living room, or bathroom separately, so requirements do not mix between rooms.

What it gives you in practice

Collect detailed functional requirements separately for every room
Responses are automatically categorized and assigned to the right rooms
Room requirements become organized notes, task lists, and project priorities
Import an existing room questionnaire from Google Forms, Excel, or another file
Save the room functionality brief as a template and reuse it in similar projects

How it works step by step

You prepare questions per room, the client describes how each space should work, and Liru assigns answers to the right rooms.

01

Create room sections

Prepare questions for each room or start from a saved template.

02

Client answers by room

They describe habits, equipment, storage, limitations, and priorities.

03

Liru assigns requirements

Answers are categorized and saved in the right room context.

04

Reuse the template

Future room briefs are faster because the structure is already saved.

How to use it in Liru

Use the room functionality brief when the general project details are clear and you want to understand needs for specific spaces. You can prepare separate sections for the kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, or any other room.

The client answers questions about daily habits, storage, equipment, lighting, technical needs, pain points, and how the space should support their life or work.

Answers stay in the context of the right room, so kitchen requirements do not mix with bedroom needs or bathroom constraints. Liru can turn them into room notes, requirements, tasks, and priorities for the next project stage.

If you already have a room questionnaire in Google Forms, Excel, or another file, you can import it instead of starting from scratch. A finished brief can be saved as a template and reused in future projects.

Understand each room before you design it.
