How to use Room Management

Open your project and click Rooms in the left sidebar to see all rooms in the project. If you are starting fresh, click the Add Room button. For each room, enter a name (e.g., Master Bedroom, Open Kitchen, Guest Bathroom), select a room type from the predefined list, and optionally set dimensions and floor assignment. Rooms appear as cards in the overview, giving you a quick visual summary of every space in the project. Click into any room to access its detailed workspace. Each room is organized into tabs that cover every aspect of the design process. The Products tab shows all items assigned to this room -- furniture, lighting, textiles, decor -- each with price, status, and source information. Products land here automatically when you use the Chrome extension and select this room as the destination, or you can add them manually. The Budget tab shows a focused cost breakdown for this room alone, pulling from the same live budget engine that powers the project-level view. The Details tab is where you write the functional brief for the room. Use LiruNotes, the AI-assisted note editor, to document client requirements, spatial constraints, must-have features, and design notes. This becomes the reference document that guides every product selection and design decision for the space. The Tasks tab lets you create and track room-specific tasks -- things like order confirmations, delivery scheduling, installation dates -- each with status tracking so nothing slips through the cracks. The Layout tab supports 3D model uploads. If you work with 3D visualization tools, upload your models here and they render directly in the browser with an interactive viewer. Clients can explore the 3D layout through the portal as well, with an overlay hint system that guides them through object selection. The Gallery tab collects all images related to the room -- inspiration photos, progress shots, renders -- in one browsable grid. Back at the project level, the Rooms overview dashboard shows all rooms at a glance with key metrics: budget allocation per room, task completion percentage, product count, and overall status. This gives you a single view of where every room stands, making it easy to spot which spaces need attention and which are on track.
