How to use Chrome Extension

Start by installing the Liru Chrome Extension. You will find the installation link in your Liru dashboard, or you can search for it directly in the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the installation. Once installed, the Liru icon appears in your browser toolbar. Log in to the extension using the same credentials you use for the Liru platform -- the extension authenticates securely via your Supabase session token. Now browse the web as you normally would. Visit any e-commerce website -- IKEA, Amazon, Allegro, Westwing, any Shopify-powered store, or virtually any product page on the internet. When you find a product you want to add to a project, navigate to the product detail page and click the Liru extension icon in your toolbar. The extension popup opens and automatically extracts key product data from the page: product name, price, currency, the main product image, and any available specifications such as dimensions, materials, and color options. For supported stores like IKEA, Amazon, and Allegro, extraction uses store-specific selectors that pull highly accurate data. For other websites, the extension uses intelligent DOM parsing to find the best matches. You see a preview of all extracted data before saving anything. In the extension popup, you select the destination: choose the project from a dropdown of your active projects, then select the specific room and optionally a wishlist. Liru automatically categorizes the product (furniture, lighting, textiles, decor, etc.) based on the product details, though you can override the category manually. Click Save, and the product is created in your project instantly. Back in the Liru platform, the product appears in the assigned room's product list with all captured details -- image, price, source URL, specifications, and category. The project budget recalculates immediately to include the new item. If you need to adjust anything -- fix a price, update the quantity, or change the room assignment -- you can edit the product directly from the room's product tab. The source URL is always preserved so you can return to the original listing at any time.
